This program offers a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in the veterinary field with one of the leading animal healthcare providers. • Assist veterinary staff in routine medical procedures, examinations, and surgeries.
• Support the care and treatment of a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, and exotic pets.
• Collaborate with the veterinary team in maintaining accurate medical records and patient histories.
• Participate in client interactions and provide assistance in educating pet owners on proper animal care.
• Contribute to the overall cleanliness and organization of the clinic or hospital.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a veterinary medicine or related program.
• Strong academic standing with a passion for animal care and welfare.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle and work with animals in a calm and compassionate manner.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.

Experience:

• Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting is a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with basic veterinary procedures and terminology is advantageous.

Skills:

• Proficient in basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, electronic medical records).
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
