The USP (United States Pharmacopeia) Internship Program offers students a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to the advancement of quality standards in the pharmaceutical industry.   1. Collaborate with teams to support projects related to pharmaceutical standards development, quality testing, or regulatory compliance.
  2. Assist in research, data analysis, and documentation to contribute to the development of quality standards.
  3. Participate in laboratory activities, quality assurance processes, and testing procedures.
  4. Engage in regulatory research, tracking changes in regulations, and assisting in compliance efforts.
  5. Learn and follow laboratory protocols, safety measures, and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in or recent graduate of a relevant degree program (Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Regulatory Affairs, etc.).
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical principles and quality assurance concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Eligibility to work in the location of the internship without sponsorship.

Experience: While prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry is not mandatory, any internships, coursework, or projects related to pharmaceutical sciences or regulatory affairs would be advantageous.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow laboratory protocols.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn in a dynamic pharmaceutical environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
