Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) is excited to announce our Internship Program for the year 2024. This program offers students a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various academic and administrative roles within the community college setting. As an intern at NOVA, you will contribute to projects that support our mission of providing accessible and quality education to the Northern Virginia community.

1. Assist in organizing and executing campus events, workshops, and student engagement activities.
2. Contribute to academic support services, including tutoring programs and student outreach initiatives.
3. Support administrative tasks, such as record-keeping, data entry, and report generation.
4. Collaborate with faculty and staff on curriculum development and instructional support projects.
5. Participate in marketing and communication efforts to promote NOVA programs and events.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program.
• Pursuing a degree in education, business administration, communications, or a related field.
• Strong academic record and a commitment to the values of community college education.

Experience:

• Previous involvement in campus activities, clubs, or organizations is beneficial.
• Familiarity with community college environments and academic support services is advantageous.

Skills:

1. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
2. Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
4. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
