Responsibilities:
- Assist in research projects related to housing policy, urban planning, and community development.
- Support the implementation of HUD programs and initiatives at the local, regional, and national levels.

- Collaborate with HUD staff and stakeholders to address challenges and identify opportunities for innovation.

Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in urban planning, public policy, social work, economics, or a related field.

- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required for federal internships.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R) is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Experience:
Previous experience in housing policy, community organizing, government affairs, or related fields is desirable but not required. We welcome applications from candidates with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
