The City of Sugar Land is excited to announce the Internship Students Opportunities Program for 2024. This program provides an excellent opportunity for students and recent graduates to gain practical experience across various city departments. Interns will engage in meaningful projects, develop essential professional skills, and contribute to the community’s growth and development.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily operations and administrative tasks within the assigned department.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives relevant to the department’s objectives.
  • Conduct research, gather data, and analyze information to support departmental projects.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.
  • Attend meetings, take notes, and provide summaries to supervisors.
  • Collaborate with city staff and fellow interns on various assignments.
  • Provide excellent customer service to the public and city employees.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • Must pass a background check and drug screening.
