Job Description:
The City of Abilene is excited to announce the Internship Opportunities Program for 2024. This program offers a unique chance for students and recent graduates to gain valuable hands-on experience in various departments within the city government. Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day operations and administrative tasks within assigned department.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives relevant to the department’s goals.
- Conduct research and gather data to support departmental projects.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents as required.
- Attend meetings, take notes, and provide summaries to supervisors.
- Collaborate with city staff and other interns on various projects.
- Provide excellent customer service to the public and city employees.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements
