Job Description:
Embark on a career-defining journey with the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Internship Program. Responsibilities:
- Support ongoing projects related to nuclear security, nonproliferation, and emergency response.
- Assist in data analysis, research, and reporting for various nuclear science and security initiatives.
- Engage in administrative tasks, including documentation, project coordination, and event planning.
- Participate in training programs to enhance knowledge of nuclear technologies and security protocols.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of outreach programs and community engagement activities.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or postgraduate program.
- Pursuing a degree in nuclear engineering, physics, international relations, or a related field.
- Strong academic record and a keen interest in nuclear security and nonproliferation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Experience:
While previous experience in nuclear security is beneficial, we welcome applications from students with diverse backgrounds and a passion for national security.
